Kuria is a shinobi from Kumogakure, and a member of a branch of the Hozuki Clan.

Background

Kuria was born in Kumogakure, she is the daughter of the head of the clan.
She received a very strict education, constantly reminded that she had duties and responsibilities towards her clan and her village. She started training in an early age but she never complained about it, she knew that she would have to serve the interests of Kumo.
Kuria always wanted to play with the other children in the village, but her training kept her away from any sources of distraction.

Even though she proudly carried the name of her clan, she hardly hid her anger when people referred to them as a banished clan.
Originally the clan Hozuki is from Kirigakure, the creation of this branch followed a discord between the former head of the clan, Hangetsu Hozuki and the second Mizukage, Gengetsu Hozuki. Hangetsu refused a mission of the Mizukage, which consisted of killing two members of the clan who had deserted the village after stealing secret information from the village.
The Mizukage knew that no Oinins (anbu) had the abilities to stop the two Nukenin, but he also knew the deep solidarity that his clan had towards its members. The clan or the village. During a secret mission, she met Suigestsu Hozuki who will soon become her rival.
They fought and the young man won. Suigetsu has more than once shown his disinterest for the past tragedies of his clan during the fight. Kuria found this attitude unpardonable.
She knew that the young man was looking for the swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, but at that time She had refrained from revealing that she had one, The Nuibari (縫い針, Literally meaning: Sewing Needle)that she obtained during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
However Suigetsu knew she had Nuibari, but he was interested in the girl's abilities, so he proposed to confront her again in the future, If she loses she would join the group of seven swordsman that he will form. From then on, her goal was only to become always and much stronger to protect her clan when that day comes.

 

Personnality

She's a really calm and serene person. She rarely panics or lose control of her feelings. She has an apathetic face that matches with the look in her eyes. She has low interests in any sort of dramas that may happen around her, it makes her look selfish but she doesn’t want to be unnecessarily involved in people’s business.

She’s passionate and open-minded. She has a deep attachment and a great pride for her clan, she does not hesitate to leave her calm atmosphere to fight anyone who speaks ill of her clan.
She’s not good at showing her emotion. When it comes to explaining her feeling, she becomes less confident and shy. She is very rational, and say things as they are, but she only speaks her mind when it becomes necessary, for example when she confesses to Killer B that he sucks at rap.

She has a crush on Omoi. She used to see him during her training with Darui, but also later on, when Omoi offered her to train together now that he had Kiba (牙, Literally meaning: Fangs), the sixth swords of the seven swordmens of the mist. He is the only person not to receive an indifferent glance and sharp words from the girl. She quickly becomes nervous when Omoi is at her side.

She likes fruits, and any food that taste sweet. She dislikes being alone.

 

Appearance :

Kuria is a skilled girl, fairly tall, with a sharped nose. She has clear and pure gray eyes, her pupils resemble those of a feline. She has long white hair, with a large square fringe and two stands on the front. She wears a gray lined mesh and a red dress under a skirt, which has the style of Kumo’s jacket. She wears her headband on her left arm.
She has two swords, one with a traditional shape and the other with the shape of a crescent moon.

Abilities :

As a member of the Hozuki clan, she has a kekkei genkai specific to the clan such as the hydrification technique. She’s able to pass electrical discharge in her body, even when this one is aqueous, making difficult any taijutsu attacks. She has great endurance and a large reserve of chakra.
When she fights, she uses a lot of Raiton techniques, which she learned with Darui. She can use Black Lightning.
When it comes to Genjutsu, she uses her two swords separately, the first sword for her lightning attacks, and the moon-shaped sword for her water attack. She only uses them together when she considers that her opponent is at her level.
